The fact is that you Nigerians are just the same as the people you say are insulting you. Just like you, they are ill-informed. Most of them have never been to Nigeria or other African countries., have never lived with or gone to school with Nigerians. They know only one type of Nigerian - the one who has no valid documents, who is up to no good, the drug dealer, brothel owner, human trafficker, etc. They are not aware of the Nigerians who live here, the ones who does legitimate business, the lecturer, the doctor, engineer, etc.
You too don't seem to know that there are other South Africans and other Zulus, the overwhelming majority who have nothing against Nigerians and other human beings, the hard-working, law-abiding and God-fearing South Africans who just want everyone who lives here to be properly registered abide by the laws of this country.
Do you even know that the people who were involved in attacks against immigrants were only a few thousand, maybe not more than two thousand criminals and lumpen proletariat in some parts of Durban and Johannesburg?
(For your information, there are 12 million Zulus here and all of us, a nation of more than 50 million are accused of being savages who hate Nigerians. Yet not even one Nigerian was killed, only one or two suffered minor injuries. We have an estimated 5 million African immigrants, including 3 million Zimbabweans and possibly half a million Nigerians. Only 4 immigrants died and 3 South Africans died.)
I really need to remind both you guys who're busy insulting and threatening each other that we are all African and it's time to sober up and combine forces to address all the issues and challenges that divide us. We have no choice. Nigeria and South Africa must work together and lead the struggle to unite, not to divide the continent. Nothing can defeat a united African continent,
