There are plans for a trip to obudu mountain resort in September. The mode of transport is by road with a coaster bus. (30-seater). As for experience,this is will be the fifth time i would be organizing such a trip,as i have done so for university students over the past five years.

The journey takes an average of 10-12 hours but the last few hours are mostly always scenic. The duration is 3days,excluding the days of arrival and departure.

Accomodation will not be on the main ranch as it is quite costly. Instead,the mini hotels on top of the resort will be utilized,as these are more affordable and also comfortable. They go for 5k per night.

Feeding will be provided once a day. In the afternoon(lunch), or as it seems convenient. So it is advised that snacks and cereals be brought along.

Activities include a wide variety. Hikes; holy mountain(with a view of the camerounian border),grotto,monkey face mountain,suspension bridge,tour of the facilities(scandanavian pole houses,presidential lodge,colonial stone cottages and more),a trip to&fro on the cable cars and a day at the stainless steel swimming pool. Also, a bonfire/barbecue night, football match and other fun activities will be organized.

Essential needs will include;an electric ring boiler as hot water is indeed a rare commodity, thick blankets,gloves,thick socks,headwarmers,mufflers,sweaters and clothing,as the weather is extremely chilly. Toiletries(toothbrush/paste,soap,tissue).Jogging/hiking boots. Comfortable clothing like shorts,free t-shirts/jackets,jeans/tracksuits for the long distances and hills to be climbed and swimming trunks. The GSM network is terrible over there,but Glo always seems quite strong. Provisions and snacks. And most importantly, a camera. .. Extra cash is also encouraged,as you might see stuff you will be interested in purchasing.

transportation ;7,000(3.5k to&fro)
Feeding ;1200(3 days + water)
Activities ;5000(all the above mentioned activities)

From Lagos, You will have to come down to Abuja, as the departure will be from here (Jabi Park). In terms of payment, you can pay on the departure day.

Transportation ; 8,200 (TO AND FRO, COASTER BUS)
Feeding ; 3,200 ( 400 per plate +water x twice a day for 4 days)
Accomodation ; 14,000 (3,500 x 4{nights} A room off ranch goes for 7,000, but there will be pairings of 2 persons in each room, hence the price slash)
Activities/Tours ; 6,200 (Possibly a Long trek to the Cameroonian Border, Holy Mountain Hike, Grotto Hike, Cable Car( Arrival and Departure), Cable Car (Swimming Pool), Suspension Bridge/Monkey face mountain, Bonfire Night/barbecue and a facility tour. and also, payment for a tour guide.
