Thank your stars, then, if you've never come across a fat policeman in Nigeria. It can only mean you've never had much business visiting police stations.

You may think they (whoever 'they' are) starve them, but, I believe Nigerian cops have managed to evade the magnet and traps of starvation. You may not have noticed that some of them bleach their skins. Giving an option between food and bleaching creams, surely, you know what a rational, starving man will choose to buy.
