GEJ is the best thing to happen to Nigeria in recent times. He singlehandedly threw away his presidency and scattered the PDP, a feat the opposition struggled to achieve for more than a decade. For this singular reason, I can't begrudge him the title of HERO that some die-hard sycophants have conferred on him. cheesy

GEJ is a hero. Someone who can singlehandedly destroy the biggest political party in Africa is a hero.

People have been in PPD since 1999. And GEJ chose to handover his campaign to TAN headed by Ifeanyi Ubah(who just crossed over to PDP from LP). Some PDP state governors had to battle TAN in their states to maintain control of the campaign. Even FFK that keeps running back and forth was selected instead of hardcore and die-hard PDP members. And GEJ couldn't read the disaffection when Muazu told him that "monkey dey work, baboon dey chop". GEJ disenfranchised many party loyalists and they decided to covertly work against him. When they noticed that the ship was sinking, everyone turned into self-help/settlement by grabbing what they could before the cloud cleared.
