Well,the world is constantly improving and technological advancements never ends. At this pace,there's no telling what can be achieved with technology. Anyway,We’ve gone past the Era of 1GB , 2GB RAM smartphones and now , 3GB and 4GB are the acceptable standard ; however , what you’re about to read will leave your mouth wide open. According to Reports, ZTE Nubia Z9 just got Certified in China and it sports a massive 8GB RAM with 3.5GHZ Octa-core processor. That’s 2 times more RAM thanLenovo K80and Asus Zenfone 2 with 4GB RAM. Other Specs includes : 9mm thick body, 16-megapixel rear camera, 32GB internal storage capacity, 5.15-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080px) display , Android 5.0 Lollipop Os. ZTE Nubia Z9 will be unveiled on May 6 (tomorrow). According to GSMArena,The price has been tipped to launch with a price tag of $692. SOURCE |

At least they'll make other chinese brands step up their game and start producing gadgets with improved RAM's. Tecno,Infinix,Injoo et al,i hope you can see this!

There's no reason why I should be carrying a desktop computer in my back pocket. Personally, A 2GB - ram phone is just enough for me, maybe I can stretch to accommodate a 3GB-ram phone. But anything higher than that for a phone?, for me it just doesn't make sense. 2 Likes |

having all that ram z useless, octacore useles, bcus ur phone can hardly use up 1gb ram to enta 2gb so de remaining are stil usles, then for the cores hmm, i use tecno h6 quad core, i use my benchmark to check hw d cores work but all i see is two at work two at sleep, so if i hav upto eight den two would b working while oders would b busy sleeping, even a laptop hardly use up it own,nt to talk of phone, Samsung knows dat it of no use dats y d maintain there stats 2 Likes |

Samsung started the octacore saga in 2013/14 when s4 was launched in 2 variants samsung also started the huge screen saga i know this stuffs aint really needed bt sometimes dey do their work, u use a tecno device which isnt a fully optimised droid yet compare to the s4's and co there are specified cores used for specified things and not for fancy 1 Like |

2 to 3gb should be enough for average joes out there, 8gb is certainly an overkill in my estimation.. |
