for those who think its easy to manage d Nigerian economy. she has really done a good job in ensuring that the economy remains stable despite the fall in oil prices. during d boom she warned about the importance of saving for the rainy day through the sovereign wealth fund but the governors wanted the money to be shared. thanks to her fiscal policies, despite the devaluation of the naira, the price of goods have remained stable.

I thinkk they are having high bp because;

1. They are seriously looking for money to block the loopholes of
their fraudulent deals

2. They are having high bp because of fear of prison and disgrace

3. They now have high bp because there's no way to cover their tracks and shady deals

4. They have high bp because their conscience is condeming them daily

They are not looking for money for nigeria rather they are looking for money to use as a leveragge for the coming storm. Why would they be looking for money when 30% of nigeria's common wealth is being wasted on legislators alone, 40% stolen and 30% for the poor masses (over 170 milion)

I agree with most of your reasons......Nigeria boom was depleted mainly by
1. importation of refined petroleum products
2. stabilization of naira for a four year period ....
3. importation ...we are too dependent on importation.. govt need to ban importation of some items...
4. high overhead
4. corruption......
I have arranged these in in order of most important/contributor.... corruption is least in that even with zero corruption ..those four factors are enough to send the country bankrupt
we spend abpout 25-30% of our budget on importation of refined petroleum products
