That's 2 different things. Acting President means he's still not the president because he has no executive power to appoint, sack or impose his agenda because he's just a second in command

The late Umaru Musa Ya'radua sickness started before the Initial date he( GEJ) assumed the helm of affairs as acting president.
This simply means he spent more than 5 five years as the substansive president or whatever!
