Their lives are taken from them alright, did the law say anything about giving them long jail sentences before taking their lives?

Where did you see a drug addict being punished?
Lol. They are to remain in custody while awaiting sentencing. You think law enforcement will permit to go for pina coladas after trial? grin. You want them to bail? I'm sure these ones couldn't satisfy bail requirements that's why they cooled off in jail. Now, whether ten, fifteen or fifty years is immaterial; their arses shoulda been doing honest work in the first place. He that comes to equity must do so with clean hands.

The law generally allows a certain limit of drug possession which considered recreational. Any quantity greater than this deemed criminal. And the truth is drug law enforcement is more concerned with killing of supply source than stifling demand due to limited resources to fight the phenomenon.

What did the mother hope to achieve with her letter?

That president will need to be saved someday and these lost lives will demand justice.

Mama, I also think poor upbringing led to your son's death, I hope he finds mercy with God.
It is boldly written at any Indonesia airport that drug traffickers face death penalty, it's not a law made by the president but the Nation itself.

I read that and admit seeing the notices. a president is a president. have u heard of presidential pardon? what about clemency? all I'm saying is shooting criminals on the head is a barbaric way of punishing them

They arrived at capital punishment when traffickers are getting out of hand. Do you grant presidential pardon to foreigners destabilizing your country??

I'm sure you were taught to abide by the law of the land in the little business law that you did. And if you did marketing concepts, you must have been taught about providing the product and seeing demand skyrocket.

My point is, the law exists for a reason: to regulate human behaviour. If you cannot deal with the law, ship the hell out. Nobody forced these people into Indonesia, even the buyers of these substances didn't invite them into the country. Like all businessmen, they decided to take the risk of this venture and now they've been caught on the wrong side. Boo-fucking-hoo, their live will be missed only by those who loved them, not even their customers.
where u fail to touch is that without demand, there will be no supply. I learnt that in economics. if the supplier is liable to punishment, the demanding fellows should not be exempted. it's like catching ur wife with another man on bed and killing the man. what about the wife? that has been my argument from the start. the citizens that demanded should be traced and killed too, I call that fairness.

I was only making reference to that as part of the powers a president may exercise to temper justice with liniency.

What about a life sentence in the highest security prison without parole?

That will not stop traffickers. Even with the death sentence, many more will still smuggle drugs in. They needed the highest level of punishment to suppress their inflow

And u still need to ask yourself why this highest level of punishment still does not discourage them. Laws are meant to be broken.

What I am beginning to think is the Indo govt ain't better off ISIS/BH

There are more severe punishments than shooting people I tell u. If u need to google that, pls go ahead.

Are you kidding mehuh I support their cause, let them keep killing without pardon till there's no traffickers left to enter Indonesia.
