A student, 20yrs old Mhairi Black has defeated Douglas Alexander to win a parliamentary seat in the ongoing election in United kingdom. Mr Douglas is a former minister of state for trade under Tony Blair before he was appointed Secretary of state for transport still under Tony Blair. He was elected into parliament in 2007 and later re-elected in 2010 representing Paisley and Renfrewire south as a member of LP. Mhari Black is the youngest ever MP to sit in the House of Commons breaking the record of Chloe Smith, previously the youngest at 27. In fact, she is the youngest MP to sit in Parliament since the 1660's.In her words "What people are hungry for is change, and they are looking for a party that can deliver that.".
