If their is anything like destiny/fate, why do you still look before you cross the road, why don't you just cross since if its your destiny/fate to be hit you will be hit if its not then you wont no matter what?

Free will.

According to your karma you can be destined to be either a king or a slave. What you chose to do determines it all.

If your good deeds balance out your karmic debts, you have taken charge of your destiny and hence overturned it. It all depends on your actions. i.e

crossing d road is a choice, and ur choice choosen determine wether u will be hit by a car or nt. Dats nt destiny

exactly that's the point, your life is your choice... what you make of it is your choice, what you do with it is your choice...
