I understand you, so you are even reasonable. I don't follow a man, am not a fan of going to the pastor for prayers because SALVATION is a PERSONAL thing, but don't slander men of God. But the bible still shows that your pastor can pray for you and if you feel afterwards like blessing him, you can make a generous donation.

What you don't understand is that the power of God is stronger than that of ogbonis and his prayer can render them useless. His prayer can be the difference. So many prophets in the bible prophesied to the king. Jesus went into the house of Zaccheus a corrupt man.

He is well-respected and he must have been called to pray, it is not like he went there begging to pray for them. If he doesn't answer their call now it is people like you that will slander him again and find filthy things to say.

Are u comparing Jesus to Adeboye? Did u read that Jesus went to pray for Zachaeus? He lodged at his residence because he had no home on earth. Is Adeboye homeless? Jesus went on his way after then n never to return to Zachaeus. How many times is Adeboye going to pray for GEJ? Isnt it interfaith for a Christian to pray for a Muslim? the last thing I'll accept is having a closure to my question by threatening me. I sin everyday n so does everyone else. One cannot tell me that in my quest for the TRUTH I'll sin. The Bible tells me that the TRUTH shall set me free. So tell me the truth cos I need to be free. I don't consider anyone a saint in this world. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. No one is a saint. Even Jesus didn't find a saint in 12 men he chose as apostles. One betrayed him n the other denied him. I'll never feel less worthy before any living man. In the Bible God asks me to come to HIM thru Jesus n not a saint.
If during Jesus' time there were only arrows n bows, am sure u will agree with me that there were donkeys n horses. There were nice perfumes n garments. Our so called saints have all the glamor of the world. But yet, the Bible say store up treasure in heaven. There were governors during the Roman empire. When he was taken to Caesar he never prayed for him nor did he pray for Caiaphas. The apostles as well did not have any biz with rulers of their times.
The average man in the streets spit curses on these rulers for the suffering they bring upon their entire generations cos' of their greed.

Bobo it requires wisdom, he was called upon that am sure of so why deny them the honour of hearing a prayer to God. In the case of Jesus, he came with teachings they had never had before and he could afford to say anything to them he was JESUS you know! ......Jesus sat on an unused donkey once, only kings had this opportunity.....
Dad G.O didn't even buy a private jet, he was lent one as I heard(remember I said everything is hearsay till you see it).... Are you one of those that judge him for having access to one? That is my reason for bringing this up.

C, it is even clear to the eyes of man that the wonders surrounding the so-called saints are wonderful. Is it all about prayers? Did Jesus tell u he came to pray for us or to die for us? Jesus nor his apostles never had such luxury that these "saints" have today. Adeboye is worth above 550 billion naira. Above $50m. N he is still accepting gifts. He himself said he has a private jet n uses it to monitor his church n u a member denying it. Are u trying to cover a fat fart? Jesus said don't worry about tomorrow but this man is storing millions of dollars. You, the one paying the offerings, how much do u have? Mathew 19:24 says a rich man will find it hard to enter the kingdom. Is 550 billion not above rich? Is wealth we're talking. He can single handedly own several banks in the country.
