Let me cure your ignorance. Do you realise that in Saudi Arabia, ALL citizens are officially designated as muslims? PLUS it is a CRIME punishable by DEATH for a person to convert from Islam to another religion? Now what are the chances that you would be a Christian today had you been born in Saudi Arabia?

Another example. India has a population of 1 billion people. 24 million (ie 2%) of them are christians. 825 million of them follow Hinduism. What are the chances you'd be a christian if you'd been born in India, especially in certain towns and villages where the christian population is ....0%?

I agree with the 90% of the ROSSIKE''s opinion although this doesn't mean that he is wrong in the remaining 10%. Just that the remaining 10% are the religion of the parents and the dominating/popular religion in a particular region are factors he has not remembered to also take into consideration, Edo state and Lagos state come to mind here.

It's quite funny how some here are pretending not to see large doses of truth in the ROSSIKE's opinion.

First of all Christians are not borne out of chance or fate. They are NOT born of flesh or blood or the will of man or their geographical location but they are born of God! You don't know who a Christian is and that's why you use that term loosely. There are Christians scattered all over the world. And even so, in Arabia countries. God is not like man who makes his tent only where he would not be hurt. Am not surprised you think this way. After all what do you know?

If you had said, those playing religion, i would have jejely walked by but you ignorantly lumped them all.

Thanks for acknowledging the truth of my postulation. I did not "forget" the tiny minority of people who go against the grain - the odd 'Alhaji Emeka Okonkwo' etc... But their numbers are so negligible that discussing them really amounts to unnecessary diversion.

Hey bro,You've made absolute sense here!...Critically considering these two positions,I think yours is correct!

By default or by family/cultural background,we tend to belong to the most popular religion in our geographical location but then, there's the incindence of conversion as a result of search for the truth and true religion..Geography plays a huge part in one's default religion but one's choice of religion is not totally determined by it.
