I have been pondering over this for a while. Upto 75% of news making rounds centered on a black man outside Africa is a Nigerian most especially bad news/crimes. If there is any news in Africa of terrorist attacks, bomb exploration, violence, scamming, etc the first impression is that it is in Nigeria.
is Nigeria now the face of Africa?

We are repping all way round

I'm Nigerian n sometimes I marvel at what my compatriots do abroad without fear. Yes, Nigerians commit serious crimes without fear in many countries.
Don't get me wrong is just a handful of Nigerians doing these vices. Tho the larger percentage of Nigerians abroad are dedicated n loyal workers willing to take serious bleeds n pains for peas.
Yeah, most ppl make generic statements which I find silly, cos the ones who make these statements have not had any close dealings with Nigerians.
Nigerians should be judged individually and this stems from us. We're judging foreigner for stereotyping, but ethnically we stereotype.

Nigerians are getting the African American treatment. The media literally just straight out lies on you and never shows what the White man does. The White man's media does the same thing to African Americans. It is only a few African Americans that commit the crimes, but the White man goes all over the World and makes it seem like all African Americans are committing crimes. The funnies part is that people in America and around the World don't even realize that White people in America commit far more crime than African Americans. It is not even close. Take a look at the 2013 crime chart issued by the FBI for the USA, which was the last complete year of data. Check out the numbers.

No one ever hears a single word about how much crime that White people commit, but they are America's biggest criminals. These are just the crimes that they were actually charged with, but most African Americans will tell you that the police and prosecutors; don't even bother pressing charges against most White Americans for the crimes that they commit. Nigerians and African Americans are in the same boat.
