dckelvin:It is your generation that is actually miserable. You are irrelevant politically in Nigeria. You are shouting Biafra now because your only hope (a ss man) lost out in the election. You are so miserable to the extent that you have to depend on the ss for political relevance. You are so miserable to the extent you cannot do without the ss. Your miserable state is further promoted by the landlocked situation of your gully eroded home. As you can see, you are the epitome of misery. Eediotic OSU flaaaathead! |

abduljabbar4:Majority of us Biafrans do not hate Hausa, Yoruba or any other people. It is just that Nigeria was fraudulent product from mischievous salve traders. Nigeria has been a pool of blood and the circle will not stop under this structure. The only way to stop this madness is for us to go our separate ways then respect one another. In that case, some herdsmen cannot just enter our territories and hack people down. Also, Biafrans living in neigbouring countries where it is crime to sell beer will count the cost. Now we have two laws! One for certain people and another for certain people. It is a shame. |

Demmzy15:time has passed, chips are down! The Biafran movement is gaining momentum even in the SS. By the way, it seems you people forget that the Igbo man who led the so called "Igbo coup" of 1966 was from SS. |

I read extensively about Nzeogwu in my little quest to try and learn how all this started, his parents hailed from somewhere in delta state, present day south south Nigeria, and the fact that he was born in the North as well as spent almost the entirety of his life there made him a northerner, has anyone tried to find out why a supposed igbo man was bearing "kaduna" as his name? Nzeogwu never believed in secession, even up to the point when the war broke out, as for the coup, it was more like a group of young and naive soldiers, who thought they were concerned nationalists doing what they thought was best for the country. Little did they know what the cost of their actions would be. It's sad igbos have continued to pay the price until this day. There was already a mass genocide of igbos going on before they even chose to secede as a last resort, everyone keeps making it look like igbos just woke up one morning and decided to leave, there was even no reparations for the war as should be the case, so if you ask me, igbos are not playing victims, they were made victims for something they had no real control over. We need to correctly interpret and sincerely admit to our past before we can move ahead. |

My grandfather spoke of Igbos who escaped death in far away North, only to be massacred by the Tivs and Idomas in Benue! You can imagine the agony, pain and deep betrayal they felt. Benue shares a border with Ebonyi and Enugu, they( the Igbos that ran all the way from far North towards east) were almost home, but were ambushed by the Tivs and Idomas. The entire country was drunk in Igbophobia, Nzeogwu only gave them an excuse to pour their hate on the Igbo nation. This is a Part of our history as a people, that we must never forget! The labours of our Heroes past, must never be in vain. |

pazienza:Heroes indeed! They died fighting for our freedom! I better die fighting for my freedom than live the life of a slave. Nigeria is a product of slavery. How can slave traders be the founders of a nation for us? We have the right to self determination! As for our heroes, we honour by holding firm the principles that led them to fight! Let us not forget that it was Nigeria that attacked our nation. We must tell our children our history. We are not Nigerians. |

Demmzy15:that was then. WE have left that behind. We could also have moved on with "ONE" Nigeria, but unfortunately the Jihardists up North still see us as prey. It is a duty I owe my children to leave them in a country where they are not like sheep among terrible wolves. |

noblezone:What brought 'jihadists' into this matter now? These are one of the reasons why you guys won't be able to make reasonable points! So Theophilus Danjumah is a jihadists or Yakubu Gowon a jihadists?! Better think on how you'll make this nation great again and stop deluding yourself on a 'cause' you can never win! Jihadists my ass! ![]() Una dey vex me sef! You speak as if, they put chains on your necks and legs. Your businesses are successful even in the North, you're excelling. Stop playing pranks and propagandas, Germany invaded France but they're best of friends now. No one is fighting you it's just you and your leaders! |
