News emanating from Naij News suggests that the national chairman of the ousted ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu allegedly threatened the Ekiti State governor, Dr. Ayodele Peter Fayose to keep shut his mouth or risky exposing the secrets behind his victory at Ekiti gubernatorial election last year. Gov. Fayose and Mua’zu have been engaging each other in war of words in recent times. Some PDP chieftains including Fayose had accused the chairman of being responsible for the defeat the party suffered at the presidential polls held recently. Fayose accused Mua’zu of having secret meetings with Ahmed Tinubu, leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Naij News could not substantiate the report as it could not either state where the PDP Chairman, Mu’azu made the comment not reported the source of the report. Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu is reportedly out of the country on medical trip abroad. |
