OGAs @siga and @justwise. Pls help with my issue.

checkyink:
My good people. Please I want to inquire if presenting a scholarship letter and signed contract showing annual stipend accrued go me from my supervisor can be used ad proof of funds for inviting my spouse on a work permit . I just arrived canada last week and just opened a bank account. Planning on inviting my spouse by June ending (tough dealing with her absence) but I won't have the minimum 3 month bank statement. Please I need you advice on this. Can I use the scholarship letter and signed contract i get from my supervisor as proof of funds to cater for me and my spouse. She works in a bank so she will provide her own account statement.

Also wanted views on if an Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology after Bsc in Biochemistry would make sense to the VO.

hello house, please how can I apply for student visa using online application. I tried CIC by answering their questionaire but after answering all the questions, I was told I will have to use mail and also wasn't given the code.
So pleas can I go about it to get myself applying through online?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by hayqinsbFX: 7:25am On May 15, 2015
Applied for the same thing after series of connsultation and I was given a strong go ahead.
Maybe when a decision from the VO comes concerning my application I can say something more affirming on that.

Seneca...

Looking at Seneca too. But found a similar programme in Durham for 1yr as opposed to the regular 2. I'm actually also hoping this would boost my chances for a masters in the long run. Do you have any such plans?

I learnt grads from colleges have good chances in the labour market as these diplomas give really hands on, practical knowledge and skills.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by hayqinsbFX: 8:04am On May 15, 2015
You're right about the latter, and about the former you have to look at getting excellent grades and then consider your chances with a masters.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Thomby2k12(m): 11:43am On May 15, 2015
Hello my good people,

Please I need advice and guidance on how to go about my study permit application.

I have just been notified of my acceptance by the university where I had applied for a Master's program in Educational Administration (Manitoba, Canada) and I have the option to resume either in the Fall Semester (September 2015) or Winter Semester (January 2016). My admission package will be mailed by the end of this month, according to the information provided in the notification email.

In 2011, one of my aunts came from the US and setup a SCHOOL OF INNOVATIVE STUDIES in Lagos, and I happened to be included in the directorship of the company because of my Educational Certificate (BSC ED.) which was a fundamental requirement that must be met before the license could be granted. My name name also appears on the Certificate of Incorporation of the school.

I teach in a private school in Akure, Ondo State.

HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS:

1. How can I package myself using my status and directorship of the school to my advantage in my study permit application?
2. What documents will I need to obtain from my aunt to use in support of my application?
3. Will need to look for a co-sponsor?

Thank you very much for your anticipated response.

Hmmmm @team12...

U have a different case from everybody as u have ur child going with u.

I don't know where you stay, but I would just suggest you save yourself the stress of scanning and go and submit you hardcopies.

You don't know which document will swing the pendulum iin your favour.
My own small advice is you should pile your full documents and take to VfS.

i will suggest you get a nigerian co sponsor, having one sponsor at times is not enough for VOs especially if is not a nuclear family member with very huge SOA now staying in another country may be an issue, get some one that can co sponsor here as well and work on your SOP. good luck
