zeeek:What people fail to understand is the difference between peacekeepers (JTF) and full declaration of war. In full war every means including bombing of entire communities, massacre, looting, rape, blockade and starvation is employed. Even the pipelines will be bombed to increase mortality of rebel areas by making their waters polluted. |

chukwudi44:Do you know the meaning of the word call "Extinction". Try it and see the bitterness. Instead of you guys to fashion out a way of liberating each others, some corrupted guys and high chief among you plus Mr Jonathan continue selling you out for their own benefits. Have you ever thought, why Asari will go and build a University at Benin republic? What has become the amnesty payment to the militants over the year, and of what benefit was it to the Niger Delta? What about the protection of the pipeline money, who are the one benefiting from it? I'm so use to the Niger Delta and even from my close friends and associate there, they were not happy with the ways the President is handling the affairs of Niger Delta. I would love if Niger Delta should stand up for themselves not for some silly guys that call themselves militants and yet, they are not even doing anything for ordinary people in that region. |

Abagworo:Yea, the divide and conquer tactics. Ijaws are now being separated from the rest of Niger deltans and are being presented as the villains who will benefit more if Niger delta struggle succeeds. It almost seem like Biafra 1.0 where the Igbos were singled out. The Urhobos, Ikwerres, Ogonis, and the rest of NDeltans will be fools if they don't support the Ijaws in this struggle. You close ranks to fight off a common foe first, then you come back home to settle your little squabbles. This is the lesson ND should have learnt from the Biafran war. "All the militants are mostly Ijaws, so let's leave the fight for the Ijaws by betraying them and getting them replaced with us as the most favoured group from the region by the FG" . Such line of reasoning killed Biafra. |

babyfaceafrica:Exactly so why deny them their fun in the sun. Its their time. There is something that always baffles me about Nigerians concerning this matter. Leaders from other regions have collectively vandalised this economy, enriched themselves and usurped the Nigerian started. You guys say and do nothing. They are there again some having re-invented themselves and we are okay with that. It is the militants that is our problem. Do you know or do you care how much TY Danjuma alone strips from this country on a daily basis and has been doing virtually since the end of the civil war (his only credentials and rights to such). Start there first then your campaign will be more credible and persuasive to the peoples of the Niger-Delta. If the oil is for all, it is for all, if it is for some then you have no right to decide to whom it goes, period. |

This is why more numbers of cadet/recruits shud be taken into the service... Not to use politics to fix in unserious persons that want to just boast with the uniform and make dirty money. As for OPC and ex-millitants, they should go to sch or 4k off! I'm from Bayelsa, let Buhari 4k them up! Nonsense |
| Re: Pipeline Surveillance: Buhari To Revoke Jonathan’s Contracts To OPC, Ex-militant by Gbawe: 10:12am On May 16, 2015 |
BlackTechnology:The fact and the reality associated with Nigeria as a Nation is that crude oil is 100% owned by Nigeria wherever it is found within Nigeria's officially controlled territory. Lawless individuals like you may not wish to accept this but that is the reality supported officially by the laws and constitution of sovereign Nigeria. Change this status quo first and secede legally before you begin talking impotently as if the ND can formally dictate issues to Nigeria. The FG, soon to be led by Buhari, controls all the income of Nigeria - wherever such is derived from. When you cannot recognize and accept this fundamental legal reality then it is clear you cannot be taken seriously when issues related to the development of Nigeria are under discussion. |

lygn19:This is not 1967, there are many routes now through which one can access weapons from allies. Bombardment now can go both ways shud there b civil war. U are making Nigerian army during the war seem they were gallant soldiers while they lacked technicality and intelligence, only relied on continuous supply of arms from Britain while their opponent had no means of getting arms and ran shortage of arms. Do not pray civil war starts again having high hopes u still have advantage u had in 1960s. Most countries that supported Nigeria then have no interest in Nigeria now and some are even interested in its split. |
