That is a good start, but I will strongly suggest you host your blog, do not stay on . if you have bigger plans. It is relatively cheap to migrate to self host.

You will be able to customize as u wish since you own our server space, you will also be able to use FTP and install your desired theme... etc... alot of advantages..

Just try, you can do that later tho, It is not compulsory it must be now, maybe when you get more familiar with wordpress, but have it in mind

To address your questions:

1. Nice design, nice choice of theme, you did a great work. See attached image,.. You have a broken code

2. There are numerous mobile plugins that help you switch to mobile automatically depending on the device the user is using and the theme you want to display on different devices... See link to examples below

Download free mobile theme by carrington -> https://wordpress.org/themes/carrington-mobile/ (It is very light and will definitely boost your SEO)

3. How to make money? There are alot of ways, you can consult Google on that.... sponsored post, advertisement, Marketing.. etc... Just make sure you have considerable traffic so your earning can be substantial.

4. Increase traffic? Stay relevant and consistent, post original content; not something you copied on linda ikeji, definitely people will read from linda first. FOCUS ON YOUR SEO so you get huge traffic from search engines (Google, Bing, etc). There is no crime in doing something someone has done before, just make sure your approach is different. Integrate your blog with social media, make use of your social networking, before i start sounding techy... do all these and you will be fine.

1. When you say Homepage header, what do you mean.. I can see your logo present and no top banner

2. There are several options to editing the *Powered by..* Give it 2 shots...
a. Check the Theme Options and check if there is footer setting... If Yes, there it is
b. Open Appearance -> Editor -> Check footer.php file and scroll to the end, you might find it
if you don't mind to release your login details I can be of help

3. Reset the theme? YES!!!!... Simple... checnge your default theme to TwentyFourteen or TwentyFifteen theme and delete the *hottopix theme* . Re-install the *hottopix theme* from the file you downloaded from themeforest and voila... its brand new

Observations:

1. Why are you using a cracked version? Its not always healthy
2. You want it to show thumbnails and featured images? Might require little tweaking

I would rather lets discuss here so others can learn too... If I get it fixed, I will also post the steps here for others

Hi Pal,

I am not the regular plugin guy, I like tweaking and going deep into the codes... LOL (Plugins occupies disk space and increases CPU usage... call me old school... I like it like that) grin

What I will advise (Depends on how COMPLEX your website is).

TO BACKUP

There is an Export option that comes with every wordpress, Dashboard-> Tools-> Export

- Click on Export
- Select All Content
- Download Export File

- Next, go into your website control panel (CPanel) via your host provider or using FTP applications like Filezilla
- Copy out the folder wp-content

TO RESTORE
- Dashboard -> Tools -> Import
- Select downloaded file and Import
- Open FTP... add the backed up files in wp-content folder to the new/empty wp-content folder

And you are good to go

My assumptions
- You know about wordpress already
- You have CPanel/FTP access to your host account
- You are backing up and restoring to same website with same domain name.

My advise... finish it and make it work on PC, then mobile will be small thing (That's how I work tho) It could be a major distraction trying to balance both at the same time

Good day to you all.
Please I have been having problem login into my WordPress dashboard it has been telling me that my computer does not support Cookies despite me setting my browsers to accept cookies.
So I deleted the WordPress and reinstalled it now its tell me invalid username or password but I can easily login with my phone without any problem(in both cases).
Please I would like it if you guys can help me with solutions as to this problem.
