There are indications that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is revisiting investigations into the fuel subsidy fraud cases which it abandoned since 2012. http://www.punchng.com/news/efcc-reopens-subsidy-fraud-cases/ 2 Likes |

EFCC is just waking up from its slumber! All because the new president doesn't condole corruption..... Where have they being all this while, I guess they have being sleeping and taking/pocketing their salary without any work done..... I guess the agency need rebranded and restructuring for effective running. And this should start from the HEAD.... 24 Likes |

He said the EFCC never stoppedNiyi said it and they pounced on him. The opposition said it and they pounced on them. Now the anti corruption body has said it themselves. Let's see how Jonathanians respond to this. Perhaps they would refer us to TI index. Funny dudes. Cc: Lalasticlala. 57 Likes |

It was learnt by our correspondent on Sunday that the EFCC authorities decided to step up the investigation at the twilight of the President Goodluck Jonathan administration whose disposition towards the subsidy fraud and other corruption cases, sources said, did not encourage the prosecution of the suspects. should the government of the day disposition prevent any anti-corruption agencies from functioning this is just pure excuse to draw favour from the government of the day 5 Likes |

Cowards! That organization should be re-examined and their leaders should be sacked! They already know that's what will happen anyway, this face saving show won't save them. 11 Likes |

I keep imagining what kind of sorry state this nation would have been in if this govt had been allowed to continue with its molestation of the economy and all I can come up with is "Thank you God for forgiving us the sins we committed earlier that made you inflict this "...." as punishment" Jonathan's presidency is/was first foremost to satisfy vested interests!!! Also according to the book of TANoids , chapter 18 verse 5 "Subsidy thieves interests are more important than that of Nigerians" 31 Likes 2 Shares |

He said the EFCC never stopped investigation into the subsidy fraud, but had only been handicapped by the Presidency’s disposition towards the cases This statement alone has shown that GEJ really allow corruption to grown wings and fly like an eagle How will a good and sane government not allow for check and balances with the feedback mechanism that would guild against thieves and wastages 12 Likes 1 Share |
