Pls help guys.. .. I jst got a ps3 den I tried switching on,d red light shows, when I press it shows the green light and after 5-6 secs it switches off.. Am suspecting maybe it's because I use gen, ND u knw it consumes a lot of power wich d gen can't hold.. Should I return or wait 4 the untrusted NEPA

Return the console ASAP, don't wait for NEPA

That could be the YLOD.
The game could be over heating hence the switching off. If problem persists you would have to take it to a repairer who would do servicing to it
and probably apply thermal paste to the game cpu.
Does it blink the red light while switching off?

No.. The green light just goes off then the red light

had this same problem just last week. ..I also thought it was cos of NEPA's low current. ..tried it with gen, same problem...had to return it and have it fixed...you should do the same

U mean the same problem.. . What did the repairer say was the problem

said something about 'power' or so...didn't charge anything since he sold it to me with the defect
