Your sister is the type of people that comes around once every 50 yrs. She is following her dreams so the best thing to do is to keep praying for her. From what u said, she just wasted her time schooling. The truth is that everybody will not go to school. The sooner you discover the thing you are very good at, the better and she has discovered hers. Look at it this way. You read acting & filming working in finance, that means you gonna work real hard to keep ur job & make some money with lots of upgrading but in her case, she gonna make lots of money doing the things she loves and she will have fun doing it. Like I said, just pray for her.

She's an adult let her live her dreams. Kola oyewo is a PhD holder and a nollywood actor both in the English and yoruba genre
hafiz oyetoro/saka is a PhD holder and a comic nollywood actor in the English and yoruba genre.HHe's also a lecturer. I've forgotten the university he lectures
antar laniyan is a masters degree holder and a nollywood actor in the English and yoruba genre.
shola fosudo is a PhD holder and a nollywood actor in yoruba and English. He's also a lecturer in lasu, theatre arts department

Rita dominic a graduate of theatre arts
tonto dike a graduate of petroleum engineering or something like that
funke akindele is a law graduate of unilag. She's in both genres same with bimbo akintola who's a graduate of university of ibadan
odunlade adekola has gone to school to earn a degree because he's English speaking is poor
some others like madam saje etc are illiterates but have carved a niche for themselves.

Bottom line is irrespective of your degree whether a PhD holder or an illiterate acting accommodates every one as long as you have the talent and you're hardworking

Genevive is just an ssce holder but she brushed up herself. Upgraded her skills and intelect.. I don't know why everyone thinks it's only paper qualifications that matters. There are some industries where your paper qualifications mean nothing especially in areas like skill related work such as food making, singing , acting, fashion industry etc but in Nigeria its all about I have a masters degree. I'm a graduate I cannot work here. It's beneath my qualifications . There is even a professor that acts too. I can't even remember his name but he's the older generation of the nollywood artist . He hasn't reached the place where Genevive has reached. That's to show you that in certain industries expertise matters. Your book knowledge is of no use.

You are talking of Prof Laz Ekwueme younger brother to former Vice President Alex Ekwueme. I personally value skills more than certificates that some of us graduates cannot defend

Don't get me wrong. I'm not against paper qualifications. Make no mistake about it having a Bsc in whatever field is basic and non negotiable however qualifications are not all in all. The nigerian society has made it look like without degrees you're of no use. It's only people that have white collar jobs that are successful the rest are nonentities.its a very myopic and shallow way of reasoning. Angelina Jolie, how many book she read. Rihanna nko? I even learnt puff daddy, pididi or whatever he's called was a college drop out and went to pursue a career in rap music
