Hello good mothers, please I am a FTM and my baby is just a year nd 4 months. The most embarrassing thing is dat he still uses feeding bottle and any attempt to spoon feed him most times results to him not eating at all. Although he eats solid food very well and a little quantity of rice and noodles.

Please how do I encourage him to eat his major food(cereal) well with spoon?

Just pack the feeding bottles away from his sight and if he stops seeing it, he will stop requesting for it

Have you tried singing to your baby when spoon feeding him? Dont rush him, take your time feeding him. Play games with him, do a mummy dance with his spoon if you can, talk to him e.g you can say something like " you know you are a big boy now, so you have to eat like a big boy"
Patience is key. Dont be embarrased dear, all babies have their own wahala. "Whispering* and if all the above fails, put bitterleaf in his feeding bottle teat
