Pretty fast no doubt. This is not a new thing in advanced countries though. But don't think u will download 1gb data in 1 second, its not calculated like that.

1 byte=8 bits.

So a speed of 1gbps at full throttle will be able to download about 125mb of data in 1 second. When u add traffic loss it might come down to about 100mb of data download in 1 sec.

Many fibre connections give you that kind of speed. However, not everywhere has access to it. I would be quite satisfied with a consistent 100mbps upload and download speed

It's not really hard to believe, search Google Fibre videos. This is what we should be focusing on in Nigeria. The video provided isn't from a phone connection though. 4GLTE maximum throughput is around 150mbps downstream cat 4 and 300mbps for cat 5 LTE. In real world usage, you will get about high 50-60mbps for cat4 4G LTE and around 120-200mbps for cat 5 4G LTE

At least not now. Fastest I've seen in Nigeria is 200mbps. We will get there though.
