So why must you include TRAM when the topic actually READS TRAIN.

To misguide the deluded fellows.

Of what significance is putting a photo of tram in Kenya and comparing it to Train in Nigeria.

What you need to consider is that these are supposed to be "new" projects.

Check the allocated budget of these projects, and compare it with figures from similar projects in other countries. You'll find out Nigerians are being short-changed.

If you decide to buy a new phone in 2015, and budget enough to buy a smartphone, i don't think you would be happy if the person you send returns with a year 2000 Motorola Talkabout - at the same price.

most modern trains cant run on some of Nigeria's existing tracks thats y d opted for the similar Chinese locomotives.besides nigeria is yet to achieve stable power supply so we cant use the electric trains.combined with the fact that our railway system was moribound,i think the current status quo is fair enuf.
Re: Tweet Of The Morning: Nigerian Trains (Screenshot) by onoerime: 10:26am On May 20, 2015
We are getting there. What we need presently is steady electricity supply

i tink 54yr is enough 4 a child to walk even to run, properly if he can fly.

bro shat up.
a misinformed man is a deformed man.Nigerias railway system was moribund en obsolete before gej came into power.he did his best based on what he had to work with.mtchew u guys sef naija neva get steady power, our rail tracks er not modern en cant carry most modern trains we arent even technically savvy in such technologies yet,we are clamouring for a bullet train that most pals would not be able to afford based on cost

You nigerians are pathetic. You guys don't have trains before and all of a sudden you want gold plated trains? You have to count one before counting two. No stable power and you want electric trains?
Lol
bro leave dem.we can barely repair the locomotives we have talkless of a bullet train.even if gej defies all odds en gets such trains(assuming the would be powered with water because nnpc neva get enuf fuel for naija people en we dont even have stable power) the cost alone wud be unpayable by the common man

Anoda senseless thread. Go to all those countries u listed and u will also see locomotive trains there. They use locomotive to link states or to pass through rural areas.
.
Nigeria had no functioning trains and GEJ made d step of reviving it but u nitwits won't appreciate. Let's c d one the already nervous buhari will buy, u guys r d reason he is nervous, u think Nigeria is so rich dat u r comparing her to Japan.
.
U guys said buhari will fix power problems but he didn't include it among his priorities(security, unemployment, and corruption). Let's c how ur messiah will do his magic
leave dem otondos.the security budgets of some of this countries mentioned surpasses our federal budgets.
