Josephine Ugwu, the honest airport cleaner who found and returned $27,000 (N5.4 m) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in January this year, was presented a plaque and a cash gift of N30,000 by the Nigerian Orientation Agency NOA in Abuja on Monday May 18th. The DG of NOA, Mike Omeri presented the award to her and appreciated her for her honesty. Josephine while showing appreciation for the award and cash gift, appealed for a better job.

30k?!!!....can you imagine. The whole point is to make honesty look attractive so that other people can follow suit. But if the know all they will get is 30k only then they would rather keep any money they find next time. I suggest good spirited nigerians who are wealthy should just bless this woman so as to encourage more people to do the same.

These men at the top know no shame. Does his status not worth more than that? He shouldn't have added the monetary reward sef. It will be understandable.
