Rubbish! The mor0n who filed the petition should be reminded that NOI job isn't to prosecute corrupt officials as she doesn't work with the EFCC or ICPC. From Her office,she can only put in place policies that would prevent corrupt practices. She wasn't in charge of the NNPC and cannot be held accountable for any wrong doing there. Furthermore,the financial and business world globally,work with data gotten/provided and this is what the world bank and other leading bodies globally,have used in predicting the growth of the Nigerian economy.

I read through the writeup and I never saw any correspondence from Yale University hinting such.

Or does it imply that a certain amount of votes against this woman from APC.org change.org is a veto power of sorts, which even Yale University must bow to?

I wonder why women in politics, especially those who handle sensitive positions keep getting a bad rap.

When indices are compared, she may have, or may not have done so well....
But to say Yale University's honoring her is celebrating mediocrity?

That guy and whoever supports him needs to have their brain, unscrewed, checked and re-assigned if need be.

The petition is perfectly timed. While Yale can award their honoraries to whomever they dim fit, I thinking an explanation here will do alot to saving their name. In all sincerity and honesty, NOI should not have been awarded the degree, using the present state of the Nigerian economy as a reason.

This post is just ludicrous.

Before you call me an NOI hater, the truth must be told. She served under a weak presidency, so her position was a compromised one from the start. As Minister of Finance, there was no way she could feign ignorance on the shenanigans going on in NNPC without being labelled as incompetent. She knew about the sleaze but didn't have the courage to speak up because it involved the oga at the top!

I'm a fan of hers, but she should have resigned from GEJ's government a long time ago. Her stay with the government makes her complicit...
