what I want the incoming govt headed by Buhari to do, is to make sure that all public office holders (both appointee and elected ) should make sure that, their children/ward attend public schools right from primary to tertiary level, that way, I will see how public schools will go on strike again.

Atiku has said it all..reducing the cut-off mark cnt help in any way. The standard is what they should improved. But to b frank, not that Nigerian's education is not up to standard, what's killing it is lack of incentive. Imagine a graduate who has been job-huntin for almost 3yrs, what wi motivate others to goto school?
That's why majority of the students just want to hav the certificate and care less about the standard.

But in unity school or federal government college, cut of mark in some part of the north still stands at 1/200 for boys and girls. But in the south, we face highest cut off mark of more than 160/200.

So what is atiku saying and what are the north here braggin about. They should all cover there head in shame and let the government scrab quota on education starving from college
