I don't have a PGD in Education only B.A. If we can use the recent Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment as a case study,most people that made the final Appointment List do not study the course they advertise nor belong to the faculties the advertised. So,now I am very confused,government jobs in Nigeria aint strict with course but at the sametime I don't want to gamble.

My dear this is not Nigeria immigration. As much as I know in Navy there are a lot of departments, talk about Medical, Legal, Administration, Engineering, etc and so they usually advertise based on department. U will discover that under medical Department they suddenly removed Medicine and surgery, they removed account department and even removed some courses under education. But all the same its trial by error, u can give it a shot

Hi,I think you misinterpreted the information,have it occured to you that some people studied Radiography?And are practising it,so if you apply with any degree,don't you think your application would end up in the trash bin? I don't think just any degree would fit in there...

He won't have to apologize in case of Radiography. Radiography is a course people go to school to study. How will u say someone that study Ecoonomics should apply under Radiography does it make any sense

I don't think I would give it a shot anymore with Nigeria Navy,I have learnt somethings so far,if one do not meet even one of the requirements of any job listing,its better not to even apply to save yourself some heartache. I am still mending my heart with my experience with NIS even though I met their requirements,I don't want it to be shattered and also don't want to waste the limited resources available. No gambling for me.Thanks.

Since you are "pretty sure" Radiography is a discipline people study in school, why would you think just any other discipline can apply? Its very simple,it doesn't just apply,they are simply referring to those who studied the course as a "discipline" like you said.

Please,let us all stop living in self denial,if you know don't meet even one of their requirements,please,save yourself some heartache.Imagine being shortlisted for Aptitude Test(you travel all the way),passed,eventually you just didn't make it,by then you would have expended some resources to it. So close right? Think about it.
