Very nice gesture especially coming from a policeman. The Nigeran police isn't known for chivalrous conduct but this certainly is a commendable act and one that shows that policemen can be compassionate too.

Was the "Full tank" aspect of it supposed to be a joke? Cos e wasn't funny one bit.

If you do not have nothing to say, then say nothing, we know the motorcycle won't bring the dead back, how about showing some compassion..

Better to be quite and tot a fool than open your mouth and erase all doubts.

While the act in itself is commendable I don't think its the duty of the police to dish out largasse.

Where did the commissioner get the money from constituency allowance? What protocols were followed to release the money.

I think the commissioner better focus on providing an effective and trust worthy police and leave such to NGOs. After all there are a lot of bereaved people in that state how did they single him out.
