1. Acquire a Skill

Acquire an actual skill. It could be tailoring, baking, hair styling, shoe making, driving or any activity that can be referred to as hand work.

When you graduate, the skill you acquire will keep you preoccupied before getting that dream job at NNPC or Shell, while you earn money.

2. Start and run a business

Every student should run a business. Don’t complain about time or how your course of study can be demanding. If you know the value derivable from running a business, you will definitely make out time.

It could be a part-time business or something you run periodically; say during weekends or during semester breaks.

Starting and running a business on campus no matter how small will give you an edge when you get into the labor market either in your search for a job or as someone who wants to be an entrepreneur.

If you guys are called lazy una go de hala this is the type of mentality that have kept many graduates jobless or into slave jobs. Go to Aba and see many men who are millionaires through shoe making (manufacturing) which they export aboard.
