Built2last:Nigerians can't see beyond their nose, if not they would have foreseen this events back in 2012 when Jonathan was so passionate about 100% removal of fuel subsidy. They protested against it because they like cheap stuffs, now they don't even mind buying fuel at 300 naira a litre. Now the cabals are holding the entire country hostage, even products that doesn't have subsidy have all been hoarded just to enforce 100% scarcity on all products all over Nigeria. I hope Buhari will remove this nonsense fuel subsidy. Marketers has sunk Nigeria dry through their subsidy claims, they keep making suspicious claims on money owned them, now NOI wants to verify their last request and they know that if verified it can be found untrue, they decided to arm twist the government into paying them. |

Built2last:Dream on. Buhari will pay Wale Tinubu (Oando) and Femi Otedola (Forte Oil) fast. He will even close eye sign the cheque. Think say to finance election na beans? Where do you think all those chartered campaign jets, and billions of naira expended on GMB campaign came from? The fuel cabal boys are already enjoying cozy relationship with Buhari's family. No be Wale Tinubu dey rock selfie for helicopter so with Aisha Buhari?? https://www.nairaland.com/2316453/photo-buharis-wife-chopper-oandos http://lindaikeji..com/2015/05/photo-buharis-wife-in-chopper-with.html

Built2last:. Have you not heard that nlc,tuc and pengassan will shut nigeria if buhari removes fuel subsidy? Buhari cannot perform miracles cause no matter how hard he tries the cabal won't allow him. |

dewstar:Don't mind them. Just making noise. The scarcity is caused by uncertainty (about what happens from Monday next). In the event that there isn't a clear policy direction by the incoming government no one will import the stuff. Simple. On a wider scale if there was no subsidy, government come, government go, no one cares. If government had removed the thing like 5 years ago we will have benefit from the drop in oil prices. |

Built2last:true talk sir! Many do not even know wat they were protesting. All they knw is tht fuel price will increase. Meanwhile this subsidy gvt pays goes to the hands of individuals. I think these individuals were the organisers of the protest. Greedy packs, hot rod awaits them. Nothing lasts forever, its an atrocity feeding on the wealth of a nation. |

jpphilips:No you are getting it all wrong, true solar energy does not need any other charging source than the sun. We have plenty of sunshine in Nigeria, all it takes is a very powerful capacitor and inverter and a couple of solar panels. The Chinese have perfected this technology and it is slowly being rolled out in advanced countries. |

jpphilips:Are you ignorant or just a troll? You replied to my post in regards to solar energy with this below and I responded appropriately based on the bold statement, now tell me who doesn't understand English? Majority of ATMs in Naija run on inverters alternative enough? how i wish you know how much a solar panel and amplifier cost. They still need AGo to charge the inverters, who will supply it to them? |
