i personally don't use anything South africa. There is a deliberate and conscious promotion going on to boycott all S.A product and services in Nigeria.

i have two mobiles and none of them is mtn.

my satellite tv is not dstv. and this group is growing day by day.

xenophobic zulus don't even have a clue what's going on.
I support ur motion I don't use dstv either they are already having compititors like consat and startimes....my MTN z definitely about 2 b thrown away etisalat z better.

1)-----Super eagles : you have never gotten a win as you keep searching for that ever elusive victory.

2)------ synagouge : it has morphed into a pilgrimage status as south Africans keep queuing up and receiving spiritual cleansing and psychological healing. I strongly believe that the new besieging of nairaland by south africans is as a result of long queues at the synagogue; so nairaland is a pastime to kill the long line.

3)------- boko haram : friends of Nigeria are wishing that the insurgency be defeated and things fall back to normal, South africa and co are wishing for the worse, hoping the disturbance will get worsen and our economic growth plummeted to allow them regain the top economic spot.

it hasn't worked and won't. Nigerians aren't Zulu and co. We weather the storm better than any group in Africa.

we are the China of africa; AND IT IS INEVITABLE WE SHALL SPILL ONTO YOU.

SMH. Clueless as usual. Google Z.C.C, which happens to be the church with the largest following in South Africa & the SADC region. Formed in South Africa in 1910 & still going strong. The Synagogue, here, is a little fish in a big pond as far as fellowship is concerned.

1st picture is the bishop of Z.C.C, Barnabas & the rest is his congregation.

Hahaha. No, the synagogue is NOT popular here as far as churches are concerned. It only became popular for the wrong reasons though. Couldn't care less about him (Joshua) being the richest in the world, because as far as I'm concerned, that's not what being a pastor is all about, enriching self. Furthermore, our churches here are not about who makes the most money, that's more your thing.

Oh & they're wearing uniforms because a church is a place of worship & not a fashion show. They have youth too, btw. Older people wear green & gold, whilst the youth wear khaki or blue uniform (females).

sweetheart, please tell punkyoh that S.A isn't known with big pastors or churches. Nigeria has 5 of the 10 most wealthy pastors in the world of humans.

Christ Embassy is in south africa drawing the crowds as do the Synagouge. the biggest church in Europe is still owned by a Nigerian, Mathew Ashimolowo.

if there are churches in S.A the synagogue wont be besieged as it is by them.

Only you people can boast about the wealthiest pastors. It shows your mentality, really. To us a church is a church (a spiritual place, not a materialistic place) & has got nothing to do with building wealth or fame. The more down to earth & common the pastor/bishop is, the better. After all, even Jesus was not a wealthy man.

hehehe, while not focusing on the wealth, the spiritual growth of these churches have been staggering.

and you know humans, they reward spiritual benevolence with material benefits.

We are grossly unaware until the international community gave us a nudge that we have some of the biggest and most prosperous churches around the globe.

we make africa proud.

Like I said, that's how YOU operate your churches (by including materialism in everything), that's not how we run things here. And no, most South African churches have been in existence for GENERATIONS & most people still believe in them more than the newly founded churches or churches that just arrived recently.

As for "biggest" & all that, again, quantity is your thing not ours. There's a hymn & I think it comes from a Bible verse, it goes something like, "Whether we're two or three, we're still a congregation to the Lord". So it's never about how many people or how wealthy a pastor is, but more about spiritual fulfilment, which is what these people are obviously getting or they wouldn't be attending the same churches for generations. Again, when it comes to spirituality imo, it's NOT about international recognition, the international community or even fame. It's about the relationship people have with their creator & noone else. If having the most & biggest churches, richest & most famous pastors etc is what you people associate with religion, then that's on you. Us on the other hand have a more humble approach to religion. We take it seriously, hence you won't find us using God's name in vain the way you guys do. God this, God that, even in insults, like he's your God alone & from Lagos cheesy

Ridiculous. Idiocy on steroids. Girl, are you for real? Obsessed with quantity even when it comes to spiritual matters? WOW. Funny because I've never heard Israel bragging about Jesus or Saudi Arabia bragging about their prophet, even though the two belong to the top religions in the world. You need help. Being a pastor is not a profession but a calling from the Almighty. But you people treat it like it's a competition or a get rich quick scheme. SMH.

I reiterate & read slowly this time, the synagogue became well known, following the deaths of our citizens over there in your country. Prior to that, it was just another nameless church ran by foreign pastors. Those are not as popular as you'd like to think. People still go to churches they were born & raised in etc.

Well, we wear uniforms in all our churches here because it is believed flashy clothes will distract people from the real reason they're in church.

darn! it was almost like you were preaching to me.

other, than your love for your country which brought you to this thread, you really should haul your fat round ass to the religious section .

The fuel issue is just an occasional glitch in scheme of our economic life which is being addressed as we speak.

You really are a short bus passenger. It doesn't change the fact that that's what the synagogue is known for, for the deaths. Before that it was just another church amongst many. Listen, there are many churches here, local & international churches & they all have followers in varying numbers. However, it doesn't mean that they're popular just because they manage to fill up their pews every Sunday. No. Yes, there are SOME people that are members of your churches, but many people still go to the more "traditional" churches that are as old as time & that's a fact. Even Rhema (one of the new churches) is even more popular than any of your churches operating here. I don't know why you think the synagogue is number one here. It isn't. It has members & that's all there is to it.
