Hello my people!

Lo and behold!GTBank has finally been destabilized with this issue of fuel scarcity in the sense
that I've never for once received such error message since years I've been sending payments to GTBank accounts
and loading their official website's homepage.

GTBank's message was the first message I received this morning that they are now back to
normal operating hour but to my surprise,I received error messages you can see in the two
screenshots below when I attempted sending money to a GTBank account from my UBA Udirect platform;

I think this few days fuel scarcity has done more havoc to the extent that it will affect this
gigantic bank of ours or what do you think about my observation and conclusion.

Site is working. I just checked now. May be your Internet Access fluctuted. As regards the NIP ....most likely NIBSS (the central switch is down) undecided

Which network provider did you use?
I'm using MTN on 3G ... Let me try my SMILE 4G then and get back.

Concerning NIP,I didn't say such don't happen but it seems this is
my first time seeing such when trying to send to GTBank as I normally do lots to the said bank.

Using Spectranet. As regards the NIP, its a common feature and most times its from NIBSS (Central Switch). The people there behave like a typical government ministry grin and I won't be surprised if their server is down. All requests from your bank goes through the server to the destination bank and if that path is down, your bank will display the 'Destination bank' not available error message undecided

Don't mind this fucking MTN as it seems they are yet to recover from the fuel scarcity effect because
GTBank webiste opened within 1 sec that I connected onto my SMILE 4G LTE Broadband MIFI.

I see but you cannot compare your network (Spectranet) with my own SMILE wink

I know but not always the cause most time as some banks do still receive while some won't still receive NIP at the same instance.

Any genuine reason(s) for that?

Yeah, I agree that they are yet to recover. I just posted the sms that I got from them minutes ago.

SMILE expensive compared to Spectranet grin

Most times the banks need to refresh their web service. Had same issue with Diamond bank this morning too but working now.

Sure it is meant for bigger boys and girls but I've been getting what I've been paying for since last year May without any hitch.
I hate sluggishness and failure of networks like that of yours.

They really need to be doing that especially this UBA udirect of things because the loading of
the service can be so frustrating attimes.
