In Plato's allegory of the metals, the philosopher classifies men into groups of gold, silver and lead.GR8EVER is a pure gold, there is gold in his intellectual brilliance, gold in his warmth and humanity, gold in his tolerance and generosity, gold in his unfailing loyalty and self-sacrifice.As much as i respected him as a person, that is how much I followed him here on NL even though I didn't have a one-on-one contact with him.
RIP Bro

[quote author=Walspring post=34139184]The only problem is that i/we lost a member on this US student visa section and his moniker is Gr8ever.

Although some of the present people here might not know about this moniker Gr8ever, Am sad to post that Opeyemi Fashola aka Gr8ever is dead.

He died last week, When i checked the almanac is exactly one year or one year and one day he got his student visa. How i wish you are still alive to fulfill your destiny and the plans we discussed that night a week before your death

Opeyemi Fashola aka Gr8ever your death is very painful to me/us because you never wait to experience the American dream, Anyway i still can't believe you have gone so soon..... You will always be in my/our heart..... I wish you are still here with me/us..... I/we love you but God loves you more ..

May your soul rest in perfect peace..

RIP Opeyemi Fashola aka Gr8ever

I am desiring to run an mph in a university in the US. I have a valid b1b2 visa since last year, visited the US just once last year and spend just 5 days there. I am married and I am a medical doctor, I have my own private hospital where I make an average of 500k monthly after paying all salaries and bills and other expenses. My intention is to run an mph in america. I plan to employ a doctor that will help me to run my hospital here in nigeria during the period when i am away to run my masters in the USA while my wife will be the administrator of my hospital. I am married with 2 kids and my wife also have a visiting visa running.the building/structure of the hospital is mine and also my house where I live is mine. I am 9 years practising as a medical doctor
What's my chances of getting my b1b2 visa changed to f1 pls
My visiting visa is still running but I don't really like visiting america as I have only visited once last year
Pls advice

I was shocked when amefrica broke the news to me about his sudden death. This is so sad. i remember how we plan on his admission and visa issue over the night, with midnight calls. He was well ambitious and driven. May his gentle soul rest in Peace. I wish he truly fulfilled the american dream, but God has better plans for him.

This is sad. Gr8ever was really a good guy. He will truly be missed here on the thread. Till we meet again and part no more. Rest in peace bro.

in my own opinion i would advice you get admission from here since you don't like going to america .get your form i20 and get an F1 visa from here. you will never be bounced by VO.

Phemix is doing great. He is performing well with his academics here. He even had a GPA of 3.9 this semester. The dude is really murdering his IT classes like hell. Always busy programming at midnight when i'm asleep. He is doing fine. I will send your regards to him.

Hi doc, it's better to go get the F1 visa. Probability of changing to B1 is slim.you have a good travel history and home ties. Go get the F1

Thanks I meant will I find it easy to get f1 visa here in Nigeria from the current b1b2.? I can only proceed with the programme if I have the f1 from here in Nigeria. I will never risk going to america to change status. I will never try that. I can only proceed if I am guaranteed the f1 from Lagos here
My question is will it be easy for me to get the f1 ?

I think you are OK. One question the VO could ask you is: Given you have this income flow, a stable family, and a stable practice, why do you need to leave the country for an Mph?

Best.
