salutations to my fellow niralanders
I am sure many of us aspire to study in Poland. I have come forth to creating this topic for those of us who have such ambition. polish universities have opened their application for admission I am currently applying for aerospace engineering in Warsaw university of technology .I am yet to receive my acceptance letter but as we all know the admission isn't the problem, the problem is acquiring a visa. Therefore i want us all to share our ideas on how to tackle that visa . I would also try responding to questions within my knowledge so please all should try contributing .if u hv visited the embassy recently pls update us.

There have been lots of comments on how Polish Embassy denies Nigerians Visa. We all know mostly what there reasons are and they can't really be blamed because almost 90% of Nigerians who went to Poland ended up quitting school and getting married to a Polish girl. Well @op, as for things i heard from close friends, don't go and commit your money to any Polish University if you aren't sure of the Visa coz they have this problem of not refunding money when Visa can't be issued. I wish you the best.

@ holyboss .there was no English exam cuz Nigeria is an English speaking country and English language is the medium of instruction in schools. I just uploaded my secondary school cert, scanned copy of national passport and proof of application fees(€200) payment.

I tnk its tym 4 us to get this topic rocking. I wld start wt the requirements from the embassy's site
ALL VISA ISSUES
REQUIRE REGISTRATION FOR APPOINTMENTS THROUGH
www.e-konsulat.gov.pl
ONLY HOLDERS OF DIPLOMATIC/OFFICIAL PASSPORTS
ARE
EXEMPT FROM THIS REQUIREMENT
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
To register for a visa appointment, please go to www.e-
konsulat.gov.pl --> Visas. Then, depending on the
period of intended stay, choose “Schengen visa –
register form” or “National visa – register form”.
Schengen is for short-stay, up to 3 months; national is
for 3-12 months (work, studies, etc.).
Please be careful to choose to correct option. Choosing
“… - fill in form” will direct you to a different application
and you will be unable to apply correctly.
The system will show you available appointment dates.
Please note that appointment dates are granted
independently of the embassy, based on the missions
capacity and applicants’ demand. It is therefore not
possible to receive an earlier appointment date.
After you complete the online application form (make
sure to click “submit” and/or “print”), a PDF will pop
out. Please save it, print it and bring to
the appointment. The exact appointment time will be
visible on the last page of the PDF form.
Please note that all applications need to be submitted
personally by the applicants. We do not accept
applications submitted by post, courier or anybody else
than the applicants themselves. This requirement is
stipulated in EU law.
You will need to provide supporting documents along
with your application form.
SUPPOTRTING DOCUMENTS

2. Visa fee of 12,000 Naira in cash (unless
entitled to discount);

You just have to know that they see Nigerians with bad eye as illegals and only out to marry as to get residency. It doesn't matter your age, it doesn't stop them from thinking you will change your mind to stay after your study. I have a friend studying in Gdansk and Sopot, so my guess is your going to one of them. Well you don't have to loose faith, Poland is much better in terms of life for International student compared to six years ago. Your decision not to pay tuition is smart, but that can also give room to Visa denial based on tuition not paid. All the best.

u have a point there... the fact that I wouldn't be paying my tuition fees might give room to visa denial..I also considered it..but i heard they have changed their ways now they do give reasons .if they say it's the reason for denying me It means that if I pay I would be granted a visa. wat do u tnk

I go advise say make una apply to other EU countries. Poland de hardly give visa, guys wey dem give before don spoil other upcoming chance to get am. Because of say their pikin de like darky, guys de give girls belle there anyhow, drop school ad use their pikin get paper. most of this relationship no de genuine, so many of this women de left with broken heart and mulatto to take care of, I see many of them when I de there.

Besides, their economy no too good, most of their youth wan migrate, at least 1 million of them live for UK because them de EU, at least 600,000k spread for Ireland and many de other EU countries de try survive. Immigration know say if them give una visa, una go most likely migrate go another place, and them no want make their border be entry for guys to use branch go other EU countries, e go affect them politically.

But una fit ask me questions sha, I go answer una.

Lodz is pronounced as (wooch). Yes many of the things you said are true. 9ja boys have been doing lots of procreation there and that is not good at all. Why have a child when you have no plans on taking care of the child. Poland happens to be among the few countries in Schengen that is not in USA visa waiver program. So now they are been more committed and serious with everything immigration and border control. Many exploited them when they entered Schengen. But not anymore which I think is very good. Luxembourg remains the place in Europe Nigerians haven't exploited and given bad imagine and hopefully it will remain so.

You should also try Portugal, their tuition is around 1200-2000euro per academic year. Hungary is around 1500-2500 Euro per academic year. So you have places with better study visa chances.

The thing be say, if you must flirt, do am with sense. Their woman sef de like darky, chai. My days for the country hot sef sha, memories grin grin grin If na paper you de find sef, you fit get am with not much casualties for ground aftermath. you fit get paper by living together for as little as six month with your woman as a proof of relationship, and collect citizenship in 5 years. I wonder why guys de go marry or born pikin wey dem no need, when there is a better way. But I still meet many Nigerians wey de make guys proud sha.

The man wey I do my internship for him company na one calabar man like that, and I see many Nigeirans doctors, aeronautic engineers and English teachers. But na shit de smell pass, so make una sufer small grin
You said it all. I know in Norway boys married with kids and didn't divorce after they get whatever it is people are looking for be it papers or money. It all depends on individual and the woman they are with. I have been around places and have to say it is an individual thing. Nigerians should rep Nigeria positively wherever they are and with whatever Passport they hold.
