Pls Help A Nairalander With Formal Clothes For Job Interviews. by Phil69(op):
Please I am appealing to any nairalander who can donate to me a used formal male suite or shirt and tie which I intend to use to attend job interviews. The ones I have at the moment have become so worn out and unsuitable due to frequent use, and I do not have the money to buy any. I am so ashamed of putting them on that it is now affecting my self confidence. Please help. Any used one will do.
I normally wear shirt size 16 to 17 and trousers waist 36 but anything in the range will do as i can ammend it.
I can collect withih a reasonable distance from Ojota within Lagos metropolis.
Anyone can reach me on 07068551066 by phone sms or whatsapp.
Thank you,

Basically what I need is a decent formal wear. Shirt and tie combo is ok, but even that I do not have. The only decent shirt and tie I had got damaged last February. Since then I have been using my No. 2 formal shirt which is not presentable at all, but I usually use the suit to cover it up. Now that one too has gone too bad.
It is very disheartening after being successful in aptitude tests or written interviews, then during oral interviews and more than half of the questions and discussions centres around my dressing and looks instead of my competencies. No employer is interested in stories. My dressing has turned to a distraction. That is why I need your help.
From experience, I now know the true meaning of the saying that “there is no second chance to make a good first impression”

I believe that N2000 can fetch me something nice. I still have a black trouser that I can manage. I can look around for a bargain. Thanks.
