You might not appreciate your youth and the deployment of modern technologies, having built proficiency through interactions with technologies.

I worked in personal-technology retail for over 4 years and can assure you , computing and use of smart gadgets is a challenge for some older members of our societies. In the first week of launch of Apple's Ipad 3 I helped set up and gave many tutorial to adults above 55 years old(over 75% of my personal iPad sales that week) who now have to access medical, recreational services/book appointments via a website. Some were lost and willing to learn others just embraced the change and made a great effort and quite often learned rather well(they are retired and have all the time in the world before the grim reaper comes). The most amazing was a world war 2 veteran who served on the french front, pops had learned to use an iPad and dabble in some Photoshop.

I now work in IT support for a large domestic telecommunications company and the story has not changed
