A prospective bulk sms reseller chose a wonderful domain name. When I wanted to register it for him, I discovered that the .com and .net extensions of the domain are not available. I check the domain name on who.is and discovered that it was registered in 2009 and expired in 2010. Yet, the domain is still not available after 5 years. What is the secret here?

Someone might have bought it for resell or the registering company has decided to keep it..

Refresh d whois page, u'll c d actual info.

The Registrar is holding on to it. normally it should be deleted after 60 days

The registrar parked it for 'free' grin
