Every governor, minister, senator and house of rep member must declare with CCB before and after leaving office.... what we want from Buhari is to keep to his promise of publicly declaring his "at least 1 million in bank and 250 cow" assets. Anything short of this is not acceptable

You are the one wallowing in sheer ignorance plus hypocrisy... so CCB has now turned to estate valuers? point to me anywhere in the act establishing CCB that talked about evaluation or verification. Just like what happened with INEC, they do go to your previous school to check if you have certificate or not, it is for individuals to do and make a report to INEC.

The same for CCB, once you fill your form, their duty is just to examine to see if you filled the form in order and give it a code number!. If Buhari needed time for the so-called evaluation, his spokesperson should have said so. There is nothing like verification.

Know also that GEJ will also declare his assets within 30 days of leaving office.

the bold I have responded. Like I said there is something called independent verification, investigative journalism. The public declaration can be verified via those. The CCB declaration even at verification is never made public. Did you see that of GEJ or OBj? Did you see that of Amaechi, Atiku, Fashola etc? Whatever they do is for them.

Buhari should publicly declare so that we can do ours. Like I said the CCB isn't exclusive in verification. And should Buhari give us something separate from what he gives CCB, we shall invoke FOI to do comparism. If different, we shall keep it for record sake and drag him befor Code of Conduct Tribunal after he leaves power because that alone is a criminal offence.

No go back and forth again...

Actual: GMB declared his assets just like any public officer (including all civil servants as required by CCB.

Example of public asset declaration, checkout President Yaradua. Nigerians even pressured President Jonathan to do same but he made his choice

You too should stop being clever by half.. there is no law that requires CCB to carry out any evaluation!!.. all they need do is examine if the forms are correctly filled and the file it.. they have done so and have given it a file number!

If Buhari is waiting for CCB so evaluation, why didn't his spokesperson allude to that? are you the spokesperson?

The wise thing to do is wait till the CCB is done with evaluation of the contents of their Asset Declaration Form, when this is approved and released and Buhari doesn't read it out in public, you can now continue your "opposition struggle" by opening numerous threads.

Public declaration means public record that you have access to anytime and not the president sitting on TV announcing to the world how many cars, goats, cattles, houses and wristwatches he has or what's in bank account/s. He's satisfied his promise and obligation by making his assets available as public record before Nigerians. Government record = Public record.

3. And before coming back with more cheap and unintelligent reasoning, feel free to show us any democracy or society where the leaders goes in front of TV to state how many cloths they have, what's in their bank account, their houses, cars and so on. I know you won't and you can't show us anything so don't even bother. They disclose it to the relevant public office for the citizenry to access anytime they want because it's public record.

As for "verification" I have repeatedly told you that there is nothing like "known" verification method. Every individual, group and even the media can verify IF made public. The verification of CCB does not affect or concern it.
