As for declaration of assets. I beleive that after some time (verification & documentation), the freedom of information bill already in law would allow Nigerians to request for that information and it MUST be made available for all to know.

Failure to release those documents would among to breach of law and a case in court...

Are you saying we should wait for 30days? i believe PMB will show us after 30days anyways. He proved me right by allowing the ministers to travel anytime they wish.

but we only demanded to know so they wont change the figures overnight

21years inprisonment if found inappropiate??

no wonder some folks find it difficult to declare their assets while dem davido and wizzy keeps flauting their cars and bikes

Public means we all get to see the list of assets.

Anything other than that is deceit.

We are waiting...

Did Jonathan/Sambo do any different, before some people never stopped crying about publicly declaring assets.

Hopefully Nigerians will exercise some patience, and the opposition will abandon their shallow distractions veiled as constructive criticism.

It's so bad that Olisa Metuh was forced to speak sensibly today acknowledging the prematurity of expecting the President to publicly announce his declaration 48 hours after inauguration and 24 hours before the next business day, since they have not been verified by the CBB, so they can be gazzetted for public consumption.

The 30-day wait explains why the only past President to ever publicly announce the declaration of his assets, Late President Yar'adua, made his declaration on the 28th of June, 2007 - 30 days after his inauguration.

@bolded, u nail it, that is where most Nigerians are getting it wrong. Anyone that wishes to know the worth of PMB or VP , they should invoke the FOI

That's true. They can't just go on national TV to begin to count their assets one by one. There is a process to follow. It has to be verified and all information contained in the dorm certified correct.
You want to know how rich Buhari and Osibanjo are? You will in a couple of weeks. Just chillax.
