This comment highlights the real reason Nigeria and Africa as a whole is undeveloped. We have too much respect for authority hence they steal from us and enslave us. Ameachi adviced us to stone elected officials that steal from us rather than worship them but because of our culture of respecting our leaders/elders without questions, we continue to wallow in poverty. searchcorp: |

Alphaoscar:If you can get a copy of this book "Cultures Organisations by Hofstede", please get and read it. Pay attention to the POWER DISTANCE ranking. You will discover that countries with very low power distance (people have little respect for their leaders) tend to be the developed countries such as America and Britain, whereas countries with high power distance (respect for leaders) tend to be under developed such as Nigeria. The problem with Nigeria is not that we are naturally corrupt, but that we respect our leaders too much to demand our rights from them. Absolute power Corrupts absolutely, so we should not blame the leaders for stealing our collective wealth since we are the ones that chose to respect them unconditionally. |

And what will happen when our president goes to Zimbabwe ? Sahara whoever are just bunch of fools , living in the states , thinking the states have it all figured out , forgetting their tradition of respecting their elders , What goes around comes around , you will grow old too and kids will do the same to those bleeps |

Well done Adeola. You have more balls than most male reporters. If Africans were brave to stand up to corrupt government officials and politicians we would not be in the mess we are in Nigeria and Africa in general. Those of you critical of her actions look in the mirror and tell yourself it is not okay to bow before dictators. Zimbabwe once a great nation with promise no longer has a currency due to.this brute who refuses to put his country before himself and his cronies. Shame. |

Respect elders? Even when they are mass murderers and have looted their country dry? I guess you either participate in the mess that is now Nigeria or perhaps your family members have also stolen from Nigeria ? Apaul: |

. They asked questions that needed answers. Mugabe has been president since forever. Is he the Messiah of Zimbabwe? When will he let other human beings take over leadership? Nice job Saharareporters. You did what most Zimbabweans could only dream of attempting. Africans need to put pressure on sit - tight leaders. They are not the only good heads in their various countries. |

Shameful public conduct from the reporter - Adeola and Co, no exchange of greetings, continuous pestering of a VIP in a rude manner, Amanpour interviews people worst than president mugabe, she doesn't do it in this Agbero style. Kudos to President Mugabe security details, they were professional, they protected mugabe to his car without creating a scene... that was their primary assignment at that moment. |

Shymm3x:Your reply already shows you are not even willing to Learn.... I know what I am talking about, not just the British Press many Foreign Press do a lot more than that... Even little Aisha of CNN go watch how she Conducted her Interview with President Jonathan, even when they were both sitting, and you will weep for Jonathan... SR were not Harassing Mugabe, they were doing their Jobs trying to Bring a Difficult answer to the Rest of the World.. Maybe when you travel the world or reside and Grew up outside Africa, you would be more exposed to these, Until then, I am not ready to argue with you cos you have already made up your mind. Thank you |
