True! It was mostly ignorance and lack of adequate education that made Patience Jonathan to think that as a wife of the president, she had equal share as her husband in ruling Nigeria.
The office of First Lady under Jonathan was unconstitutional but it had more power than a governor and her ADC was a commissioner of Police.
Billions of Naira were channelled to her.
No wonder she was able to buy shipping Line, built fabulous hotels and numerous estates.
Nigeria suffered under the joint-presidency of Patience and Jonathan.

The elite fulani/hausa can look quite modest in appearance, but don't ever think they associate with mediocrity, never...especially when it comes to material things.

Buhari should listen to the likes of Shehu Sani. He means well for Buhari's government by cautioning him against the flamboyant lifestyle of Aisha. Imagine Aisha claiming the status of "First Lady" and wearing a watch worth over 10 million naira. I knew there was trouble when Buhari addressed his wife as 'Her Excellency'. Reccognising her before Osinbajo was not out of place cos it was his first statement as President and a less formal function.

If he continues to recognise her before the VP at official functions, then there is a problem.

I laughed as the progenies of hypocrisy exit threads where their master and his wife were torn to shreds. I don't envy the ministry of defense these APC folks have inherited. The ministry will last at least 4 years. I saw them scampered for safety, like rabbits whose holes were bombed with a dynamite
