Tuition payment deadline is in 3weeks time , Is it advisable I pay now? or wait till I get an advice from CIC to pay.

Since you're employed please do well to add your statement of account. You should get a study leave letter from your employer as well stating how long you'll be away for studies and reaffirming that your place in the firm will be reserved and available for you upon your return from studies.

Hey for those studying in Canada I wanted to ask you something. I have a sister studying in the UK and she told me that when she did her Undergrad her bank (Barclays) offered her educational funding of up to £3,000 as an international student, do Canadian banks offer the same packages to international students there?

Amefrica and everyone else studying in Canada....

I don't know anything about this oo. But I doubt if Canadian banks do same.

What level of study are u going for? I see u already have an MBA so I guess ur going for PhD.
I will also suggest u include visa pages to tackle the issue of "travel history".
I dont see ur own SOA and payslips to tackle personal assets...you should also include pension statement since u are working. That serves as personal asset and home tie...

Morning All..
Pls I have a question...What are the chances of someone who wants to go for his PGD/Masters in Engineering but his WAEC result is two sittings? His undergrad is Engineering.. I heard it's a major no-no which I raised to him but the person won't just accept..Also, IF the person is granted admission, does CIC have anything to do with the result? I mean WAEC result.. What are his chances of getting a TRV..Pls bear in mind that the person has been to the US three times last year inclusive..
Thank you..

cc solo8, melvisbleek, Tnuola, hayqinsbFX, Oga Siga and all the other gurus!!

I don't think your waec matters as much, as long as your grades for undergrad are decent you should be fine.

Immigration Canada has nothing to do with your school admission, the more times you've travelled to a G8 country and returned the better chance you'll have of getting your visa.

If you mean free money then no that does not happen. However they might be able to give you a line of credit.

It doesn't matter. Just add your personal SOA. The content must not be in millions. when I got mine I was having about N500k and some fraction.

It's the same "Application for temporary resident visa made outside Canada" form. You'll list the name of your family members and indicate who and who is going along side you.

Just a question I think the VO may ask..
Why will a company you started work with last month give you a study leave for a year or more? Why then did they employ you? Make sure that reason is addressed in your SOP...My opinion!!

Ya,its basically a loan. It looks like you need to be a PR or a citizen to get that though.

Still look around, there might still be other ways to get a loan. It'll might be hard though.
