The Flying Eagles duo showed generosity to patients during a visit as part of their community service at the Fifa U20 World Cup

Nigeria U20 players Kelechi Iheanacho and Bernard Bulbwa handed cash to cancer patients during their visit to New Plymouth hospital on Tuesday.
The visit was part of their community service organised by the local organizing committee for the2015 Fifa U20 World Cup.

Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, Bernard Bulbwa, Izu Omego and Chidera Eze represented the Nigeria U20 and were led by team liaison officer Chris McIvor and media officer, Samm Audu.

During their one-hour visit, they signed autographs, played indoor football, spent time with some of the young patients and posed for photos with them.

Bulbwa gave young cancer patient Josephine $100, while Iheanacho also donated cash to some of them.

“I like children and so I was happy to come and put a smile on the faces of some of them who are ill. I hope they all get well quickly and return to school,” said Iheanacho.

Nigeria lost their first game to Brazil and must beat North Korea on Thursday to stand a chance of making it to the next round.

Dumb

When people in Nigerian hospitals are dying of inability to pay for urgent surgeries or diesel,

The mofos are spending our hard earned money dashing patients in the US whose bills are already being funded by the US Govt Health Insurance Scheme.

They are bunch of nitwits

Kanu nwakwo was not dumb when he brought his Kanu Hrt Foundation to Nigeria. Truth is no matter how much you lavish money on citizens of other countries, it will never make them wanna move to Nigeria.

The best way to help your country is to help your country.

Huh, I know I have no right to tell them who and where to do their charity. But they could have saved their charity money and given them out in Naija, we will appreciate it the more.
