Dont mean to sound hard, but is that his catch phrase for everything I WILL PROBE.

Sir this is the least of our problems, let Amnesty first finalise their finding of American war crimes in Irag, Afghanistan and Gutmo. I can also careless for actions taken to fight terrorism at this moment, maybe later

We need light, education, jobs and security. Probing these claims will not feed the masses.

Any attempt to investigate the army for killing boko haram fighters and supporters will result in a full scale demoralisation of the army. I hope 2013, will not repeat itself. You need your army more than ever before. Nobody will risk their lives, just to end up in a court martial.

Amnesty international is not in touch with today's modern terrorists threat; in an ideal world, their ideals are laudable, but the fact remains that wars happen because it's not an ideal world...and unideal warfare demands unideal tactics

It's a simple plan to get Buhari to purge the Military of its officers and then later issue Nigeria a clean bill with respect to "Human Rights Violation" and from there Obama can now begin to both equip the Nigerian Army with weapons and intell, scale back Boko Haram and then take the focus from the NE to the creeks in order to secure the oil wells.

Niger-Delta should get ready to see war.

It's that simple.

Buhari,
Amnesty are rabble rousers, please be diplomatic with them they have a perceived notion of justice in that it is often one sided and selective. remember they forced Jonathan into releasing Boko Haram suspects that Yaradua tried to nip in the bud, please be careful with them as they dont seem to understand that any action taken by u will be misinterpreted by the army and against tribal lines, will you sell your soldiers who are being killed everyday for the rights of Boko Haram?

Please be smart dealing with Amnesty International, give them everything, give them nothing

Amnesty Int'l is playing the Ostrich with what is happening in Yemen where Saudi Arabia has so far killed over 2,000 civilians with relentless air bombardment.

It is the least he could do honestly. We all understand in war, there must be collateral damages but such damages must not be DELIBERATE.

I'm all for killing those terrorists even without trial but totally against our soldiers rounding up and wiping out entire villagers in the name of fighting terrorists. I watched one of the videos on how the civilian JTF distinguish Boko Haram fighters from civilians and almost came close to tears with the realisation even myself could be tagged a terrorist going by their methods- you are stripped and beaten until you confess, and if you don't, they say you are strong headed because you are a terrorist!! Can you imagine the horror! It implies that whether or not you confess, you are dead!

What some of our men in uniform exhibit at the battle front they do in lesser measure in our cities when they go to banks or filling stations, or man check points. They harass and molest civilians and even police sometimes.

I bet the probe would only go to fish out the bad eggs amongst them and let those who know just how to do the job continue to do so for the glory and honour of this great nation.

So help us God.
I never knew you could make sense.
Congratulations...

He said he will 'REVIEW' the report not 'PROBE'

Using the term 'Probe' is tantamount to putting words into the mouth of the President and we must be careful not to be roped into this AI scheme. There is a big difference between Reviewing a report and carrying out a Probe of an organization.

What has Amnesty done about US Senator McCain meeting with ISIS leader Al Baghdadi in Syria

The creeks will welcome them with open hands and plenty of coffins. Nobi this same Nigerian army, na them go bury themselves tire. Also boko haram is already out of their control.

The child that dances usurugede does not know that usurugede is the dance of the spirits. Buhari's dance so far has led to the following convictions

1. By the end of this month, if there is no PUBLIC asset declaration, then we know he cannot keep his words

2. His wife's watch saga has opened the eyes of many to see that he is not as poor as he campaigned to be, to borrow money for a presidential form.

3. Most of the things i read about him it is always I, I, I. That shows a great l=t about how he views democracy and governance

4. Well, the talk to appoint himself as the Petroleum Minister is still a rumor. Will not wade into that, yet.

Quote me, criticize me, it is welcome. I just wish we can be objective. I am just a neutral. A philosopher once said, 'The optimist is a better reformer than the pessimist, and the one who believes life to be pleasant is the one that alters it most'.

This is a perfect opportunity for Buhari to sack those useless pot-belled service chiefs and to get rid of other Officers he had issues with.

You mean the same soldiers that were firing at their senior commanders out of frustration last year? It doesn't get much more demoralizing than that. Methinks it will instill the much-needed discipline instead.

I dont see them talking about ISIS beheading Christians in Libya , or people being thrown off cliffs in Syria, or drug dealers killed in Indonesia.
AI live in their own myopic world of liberalism where the lines are neatly divided between black and white forgetting most of the world is mainly gray

When your gang of social media boko haram supporters were sending and spreading false rumors, what did you expect? I repeat you need your army more than ever before, I hope , you and buhari understand this reality.

Easy to say from a safe distance in lagos or abuja or whenever you are. If you were living in the affected areas or had family there who had been wrongly accused, tortured, killed and arrested by the army you would be singing A different tune.

Also whilst I aknowledge that the army need to eradicate boko haram, they must be professional and protect innocent Nigerians in the process. This abuse also has the implications of pushing people to boko haram or driving another underground terrorist movement. How easy would it be for boko to recruit a young man whose father was killed innocently by the army?

We all know the Nigerian army abuses the people they are there to protect. How many times have they beaten innocent people up on the streets of Lagos? Forcefully getting free rides on buses claiming staff etc.

All I am saying is they must be professional and protect the innocent an don't just eradicate everyone.

I don't know how true the allegations are. But as you agree , bh fighters should be killed even without trial.
But we have to be very mindful of the allegations of AI. I really don't know their motived. OBJ wasn't charged with wsr crimes when he razed down Odi village. George Bush wasn't charged when he invaded Iraq and killed innocent children.

I dont like people with double standards, but all the same, we should try any soldier we find guilty and deal with them in accordance to our own law.
