This would have been a very good development, but the amended host community clause enshrined in the bill made nonsence of it. A clear case of 'One step forward four step backwards'. Nothing worth celebrating here.

You don't get the point.
A new deal is not necessarily a better deal.
Of what use is a bill that will end up increasing the parasitism on the niger-delta astronomically which the original PIB was supposed to address?
And Unfortunately, buhari will sign it with glee.
A really sad day for niger-delta.
My only hope is that injustice is never permanent.
It will always be overturned one way or another.
