It's only foolish people who say that corruption is an epidemic particular to Nigeria.

The most crooked organizations in the world are banks, they create the money supply and bribe government officials by way of post public office roles so that legislation is written in their favor. Hence, why even after the great recession not one of the major heads of a US bank has gone to prison. Or why in spite of the numerous money laundering charges leveled against Swiss bankers, none go to prison.

At least in Nigeria Cecilia Ibru and co. were held to account for what they did.

Siemens and Halliburton have also been exposed as being crooked - neither is a Nigerian company.
