Buhari, Sultan Begs Maku To Withdraw Case From Governorship Election Petition by businessMODE(op): 10:49pm On Jun 05, 2015
Rumors making rounds in Nasarawa state indicates that there is an attempt to shove aside Labara Maku's ambition by northern big wigs and the President himself. President Buhari, Sultan of Sokoto and other prominent leaders in the North are said to have at different times met or spoken to the former minister of Information to Labaran Maku To Withdraw Case From Governorship Election Petition Tribunal to allow Almakura complete his tenure.

If this is true, then it will prove that Maku's claim that he was rigged out of the state PDP ticket because he is a Christian and that Northern elements have fingered Nasarawa state as another Muslim state and that under no circumstance should a Christian be allowed to be Governor.

So far, the PDP candidate in the state is dinning with the APC and it seem obvious that he was fixed-in just to hinder Maku or Senator Ewuga from emerging.

Can we ever trust ourselves?

No surprise that the life patron and former President of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association alongside the Fulani Sultanate want Nassarawa badly for Fulanis.

Their militia is mopping up communities in and around Eggon land

well you all can assume it is rumours, but so far, a returning officer have been shot dead by unknown gunmen for sending Maku video evidence of rigging and electoral malpractice done in his post under duress, an NYSC corps member is also on the run for giving Maku original result sheets for his unit which was replaced by manufactured results...over 50 corps members were held hostage by a community and every one around know that the result in Nasarawa guber election [which is 100,000 + more votes than the Presidential election] was rigged.....

I don't think we are digging a pit of discord, we are digging ocean of discord ---until we openly accept that Nigerian Christians and Muslims are at war, we cant solve the problem --- do you know that there are 5 states that are frequently attacked by Fulani herdsmen and when they attacked they do so in Christian dominated areas --- the question is don't Muslims farm in those states? Nasaraw, Taraba, Plateau, Kaduna and Benue are the major victims of this unfortunate attacks and the struggle is to solidify the dominance of Islam in Nasarawa and Kaduna states as well as take over Plateau, Taraba and Benue states...take it or leave it, that's the bitter TRUTH
