Arsenal have reportedly made an opening £18.2million bid to complete the transfer of Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The Gunners are keen to secure a move for the talented Frenchman and have opened negotiations with his club. The Frenchman has had an excellent season.

Kondogbia, 22, has enjoyed an impressive season with the principality club but could be offloaded this summer to raise funds.

Arsene Wenger is a big fan of the defensive destroyer and has offered a tempting amount of money, according to Fichajes.net.

Monaco look set to reject the opening offer but a deal is seemingly edging closer.

If u think coqlin is good, he edges just a little...tho not as fast

With the above addition..santi, ozil, sanchez, ramsey will fully be attacke minded.

Am not saying the guy is not good but arsenal has more preaaing needa.
So what you saying now is that arsenal,s most pressing need is a defensive mid fielder?
What of the defence and attack?
Wenger likes making move for players that will mature in the EPL after 3 - 4 seasons. Many players from the French league take time to settle down in EPL especially.
