I'm in my 35th week, I feel so sorry for myself and all I can do is cry. My waist aches badly, getting up from my bed is a task, walking like there is a ball between my legs which is painful.

My birthstory:

I went for my antenatal on d 4th & started having serious pains. A matron checked me & said I was 2cm already & adviced I go home & get my stuff if my house is close that I must be in d hospital that night.

I decided to go to my mum's place which is a bit closer & asked hubby to bring my bag so we can go to the hospital from there.

Na there wahala start, I no know say devil wear nurse uniform come as night staff. As I just entered d ward & told her why I came, d nurse begin vex o! See questions "who told u u r in labour? i dt nd any stress dis nite, abeg madam, jus carry ur bag & go to ur house, i dt hv dat time to look at any body's face dis nite". My hubby started begging her to at least check me, she angrily did & said u r still 2cm, abeg jus carry ur bag & go. I refused & demanded that I want to b admitted dat nite cos I'm a patient & it was almost midnight or i'll call d matron. I was admitted by anoda nurse only for d doctor to come in very early to tell me dat my baby's heartbeat is v low & was screaming that they shld hv checked it in d nite, I was immediately wheeled in to be sectioned & in few minutes, my very handsome boy was brought out. I gv God thanks for bringing d doc early to work. Mk una no vex for d long gist abeg.

Pls ensure you are not having malaria. It ought not to be this bad. Consider doing blood film for malaria parasite

Abeg my sis, is it a private hospital? Is there a reporting channel? Devil or no devil she is not fit to tend to anyone in a vulnerable state.

@kechyl please name that hospital and that nurse right here, before someone else goes to register there and is left to the mercy of a psychopath who can not do her job well. You are doing this for every other mother there, unless you wish one day to read that someone's child is dead due to the fact you didn't want to warn others.

If we do not start holding people accountable for their actions, nothing will change and they will keep doing whatever they feel like. Please this is not a matter of "Leave it to God", He gave us brains so that we can solve simple issues like this. And yes, she deserves to lose her license. Let her go and find another industry to work until she learns what it is to be a health practitioner.

Please reply this asap. Name the hospital and nurse publicly here on this thread. With your permission, i will share this story on the doctor's thread, let someone who may work there see this and take precautions to guard the hospital's reputation by getting rid of that creature calling herself a medical personnel.

Tnx mamas! Its military hospital in Port Harcourt, my doc in d private hospital i registered was not in town & i didnt have much confidence in d doc dat was on duty cos he has neva attended to me before.

I'll ask other nurses her name later today. My happiness is dat I hv my baby in my arms, tnx for ur concern.

Thank you for the response, I later went to the hospital yesterday, the dr said I should be on bedrest. No work for three days which is great.

I was prescribed analgesic to be taken for three days. He said the pain is caused by the loosening of the pelvic bones, and that it's all in preparation for the soon to come baby. He said stress may have caused it to intensify. Hence the three day ban from work.

Baby is doing fine from their observations, I've been told to spend the day resting and taking a walk.

Congrats Biggal, may GOD 's name be praised.
